Vidya Mandir Alumni Association is organising a grand two – day cultural festival on Aug 16 and 17 at Music Academy, Alwarpet. The purpose of this extravaganza is to bring together the alumni of Vidya Mandir, raise funds for a Group Health Insurance scheme/ sponsor the education of under privileged children and present the talent of the students who passed out. The programme starts off on Aug 16 with a vocal concert by alumni members, Rithvik Raja and K. Gayatri. The day ends with a stand – up comedy by Evam, an English play by Stray Factory and a Tamil play by Chennai Drama House.
On Aug 17th, the event starts off with a vocal concert by Sanjay Subramanyam and will end with a performance by Sikkil Gurucharan and Anil Srinivasan, all of whom are alumni members.
