‘Hanuman’ is the theme of a new stage production of Chettinad Players which is being staged on November 19 evening ( 5.30pm) at the auditorium at the Chettinad Vidyashram campus in MRC Nagar.
This is the tenth production of this group. The way it works is to have students of the Chettinad Vidyashram as actors who are trained over time and employ professionals to create and direct the production.
In the ‘Hanuman’ production while well known artist and art director Thota Tharani has designed the sets for this period play, Jayakumar directs it.
One show at 6 p.m everyday is open to the public till sunday (Nov 23). Priced at Rs. 300 and Rs. 350. For tickets call 9940624476.
