To celebrate World Kidney Day, which fell on Mar 12 this year, Kauvery Hospital organised a kidney camp at the hospital premises. Various tests like the renal function test, urine exam, haemoglobin and blood sugar tests and ultra sound scans followed by a consultation with a senior nephrologist were being offered as a part of this camp at a nominal price.
In addition to monitoring the kidneys through these tests, Kauvery Hospital also hopes to create an awareness about diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure. The camp will go on till the end of this month.
