Election booths in the neighborhoods have pitched up tent to enable people to drop by and apply for new Voter Cards or to get corrections made in their Voter Cards. You can return the filled in forms to the staff at these booths today. The staff here will work till 5 pm, we have been assured.
If you find mistakes in your Card or have shifted and want to change to your address or you are new to the city and need a fresh card – you can get the process started today. The camps will be held again on 2 more dates in May. But this is the time to get started.
People have complained that some get back Cards with more mistakes and some just don’t get their cards. The process could get better and faster, we are told.
