More than 1500 devotees assembled at Mundagakanni Amman Temple, Mylapore to participate in the ‘1008 Poochorital’ celebrations held on Aug 16.
1008 flower baskets were carried by the women around the temple streets and the flowers were then used to perform a flower abhishekam for the diety.
