For most hawkers on South Mada Street, Mylapore the stuff they hawk goes with the seasons, the festivals and this keeps revolving round the year. On the eve of Ayudha pooja, loads of coconuts, pumpkins, flowers and thoranams landed on the pavement and this morning hawkers were busy – ready to start sales of the Wednesday puja.
