The residents of Rani Meyyammai Towers at MRC Nagar had a traditional Margazhi celebration at their campus the day before New Year.
To teach children the traditions associated with this month, they woke up early and decorated the area in front of the Ganesha temple inside their campus with beautiful kolams.
Later they went around the campus singing songs and bhajans. A small dance was also put by the children who came dressed as Andal and Radha.
