Noted musician S. Rajam’s birth centenary celebrations, organised by Sunaada Trust in association with Narada Gana Sabha, Alwarpet, will be held on Feb 9. Musician Madurai G. S. Mani will preside over the event. Dancer Padma Subrahmanyam is the guest of honour.
Awards will be presented to Cleveland V. V. Sundaram, Maniam Selvan, S. Janaki, Sruti magazine, Keshav and mridangist Neyveli Venkatesh. A souvenir will be released. Sanjay Subrahmanyan’s vocal concert will follow. At 6 p.m.
