Madras Sanskrit College to launch a yoga course on its e-learning platform

The Madras Sanskrit College is launching ‘Yoga Praveshika’, an introductory course on yoga on March 1 on its e-Learning platform. Actor Sivakumar is the chief guest at the inaugural event to be held at the college premises at R. H. Road, Mylapore.

Yoga Praveshika has been designed by Aravind Rajagopalan and Shyam Raman, both have learnt yoga at Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram (KYM).

At the end of this course students will be able to understand the true import of yoga and key concepts related to it, learn the key sutras from the yoga sutra text and understand their meaning and learn eight yoga asanas and one pranayama technique.
