City Police deny permission to party to hold public meet on Godse

Chennai City Police have denied permission for a public meeting which was to have speakers talk on Gandhiji’s assassin, Godse.

Thanthai Periyar Dravida Kazhagam had applied to the police to hold this public meeting in Mylapore on Sunday but police denied permission saying that it could lead to communal tension.
