TN Governor is chief guest at Mylapore Academy’s golden jubilee celebration today evening

The Mylapore Academy’s golden jubilee celebration and 50th annual award function for Tamil dramas will be held at Narada Gana Sabha, Alwarpet today (Aug 7) evening.

Banwarilal Purohit, the Governor of Tamilnadu, is the chief guest. The guest of honour is K. Pandiarajan, minister for Tamil official language, Tamil culture and archaeology. Former judge of Madras High Court and president of the Academy, S. Jagadeesan presides. Felicitations by Mylapore MLA R. Nataraj and Dr. Nallu Kuppuswami Chetti, vice-president of the Academy. At 6 p.m.
