Newspaper agents continue work despite challenges; Luz Circle is still abuzz

Life of newspaper agents and circulation boys stutters but is still on in the Mylapore area. Though some agents have given up simply because the boys are not turning up for work or some communities just do not want newspapers delivered, there are others who carry on.

Luz Circle is one of busiest newspaper circulation nerve centres for the Mylapore area. There are scores of people who work here from 5 a.m. onwards on all four corners of the circle. But that number has fallen.

This morning, almost all agents and boys wore masks and some had gloves to. One man said that they want to demonstrate to readers that they take much precaution at work.
