Recently, the post offices at T.T.K.Road, Alwarpet and R.A.Puram have resumed their operations. However, they work only for limited hours.
At Teynampet Sub- Post Office, services including speed/registered posts, parcel, cash withdrawal/ deposit from the savings bank account will be available.
Says the post-master of this post office, “We also offer door delivery of parcels. But, Aadhar related services that require biometric fingerprint of customers will not be available in view to prevent the virus spread,” he says.
The post office is located at 106, TT Krishnamachari Road, Off C P Ramaswamy Road Flyover. Ph: 24992583. Open on all days except Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Similarly, R.A.Puram post office off R.K.Mutt Road opposite the Mandaveli bus terminus is also open for business. Here also services like speed/registered posts, cash withdrawal/ deposit and door-delivery services are available.
Says the post-master of R.A.puram post office, “All services except Aadhar related services that require biometric fingerprint are available.”
