State minister Jayakumar and his son, J Jayavardan, former member of parliament have quarantined themselves at their San Thome residence. Last reports said they had not tested positive.
They have done so after another state minister, K P Anbalagan tested positive and had to be hospitalised.
Anbalagan had visited KVB Gardens among other areas a fortnight ago to oversee operations in Adyar zone against the pandemic. Jayavardan was present in KVB Gardens with the minister.
