From Thillaisthanam to Mylapore: for Yajur Vedam parayanam on Rishabha Vahanam night

It is past 3 am in the wee hours of Wednesday, March 24 and auspicious time to chant the Vedas.

Lord Kapaleeswarar, on the Rishaba vahanam,  is well into the South Mada Street. At the eastern end is 46 year  old Maruvur V  Ramesh who has come all the way from Thillaisthanam, near Thiruvayaru, to be part of the  Yajur Vedam Parayanam specifically on the sacred Rishabha Vahanam night of the  Panguni brahmotsavam.

He underwent Vedic education at the renowned patshalas in Thiruvayaru,  Thiruvanaikaval and Musiri.
A distinctive feature of Ramesh is that he does not eat outside,  and  drinks only well water as was the traditional way of life in the decades gone by.
Over 30 Vedic pundits presented Rig, Yajur and Saama vedas around the Mada Streets till well into the wee hours of Wednesday.
