Temple to build huge Wedding Hall

The formal launch of the construction of a modern kalyana mantapam was held at Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple, Mylapore.

The event took place on June 4 at 10 a.m.

The chief guest was K. R. Periakaruppan HR and CE minister. The other guests included M. Jayaraman, councillor and Zone 10 chairman, S. Ve. Sheker, Mylapore MLA, Nalli Kuppuswamy, trustee. In the photo state minister K. R. Periakaruppan and other guests are seen at the function.

The mantapam will be built at a cost of Rs.9.2 crores on land that belongs to the temple on Greenways Road, R. A. Puram.
