Bharatanatya Arangetram of Madhumitha Sriram

Madhumitha Sriram a Mylaporean and disciple of Meenakshi Chitharanjan, Kaladiksha, presented her Bharatanatya Arangetram on Feb 13 at Sivagami Pethachi Auditorium, Luz church Road.

A. V. Ramanan was the chief guest of the evening.

Madhumitha is a sixth standard student of Harishree Vidyalayam.

  1. It was a great performance by Madhumitha. She was very clear in what she learnt and exhibited a thorough grace in bhavams and abinayams. For the age of 11, she was able to portray so much of this art form with a great confidence. Her Theerada Vilayattu pillai was so beautiful and she brought the mischievous Krishna and the Gopikas on the stage in front of us.

    The Narayana part in her varnam was yet another fabulous presentation. Way to go. May the good God give her all wonderful opportunities to excel as a dancer.
