Mylapore Fine Arts Club, a sabha which promotes classical music and dance and theatre is celebrating its diamond jubilee this year.
The inaugural of the jubilee celebrations was held on April 8. The senior most member of MFAC, Dr. K. B. Subramaniam was felicitated on the occasion.
The club has about 700 members now.
K. B. Subramaniam is a retired professor of Vivekananda College. He had been a member of the club since 1951. He had been the vice president of the club for over 30 years. He was a long time resident of Mylapore and is currently residing at K. K. Nagar.
