MUSIC

The April ‘mikeless’ Sunday Kutcheri in the Park features Kartik, a class 10 student of DAV Boys School, Gopalapuram in a vocal Carnatic music concert on April 1 at 6.30 a.m. at Nageswara Rao Park, Mylapore.  He will be accompanied on the mridangam by K. Sriram and on the violin by R. Selvaprasad. This is the 7th year of Sundaram Finance’s concert series in the park.For registration call 94450 34557 or 28521181

Balar Chithirai Kalai Vizha is  a competition for children and youth. This is open to students from schools and colleges and is organised by Sumukhi Rajasekharan Memorial Foundation. The registrations and selection will be held till April 15 at Mandavelipakkam. All competitions will be based on Tamizh language and culture. The finals will be held on April 21 and 22.
