A raid was conducted at the residence of former state minister E. V. Velu of DMK on March 22.
He is a resident of 3, Sri Labdi Colony, Alwarpet.
The officials of Directorate of Vigilance and Anti – Corruption have registered a case on him under the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
Velu was the Minister of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection.
