The Teynampet Post Office located at TTK Road, Alwarpet has opened a domestic and international parcel and packaging centre.
This was open on March 26 by D. S. Gnanadesikan, MP and Chairman, TN Congress.
This centre has a semi – strapping automatic machine and a band sealer to seal the package in a leak proof cover.
The minimum charge is Rs.80 in addition to the normal postage rated for domestic and international parcels.
The parcels will be delivered within a period of 3 to 5 working days.
They also have carton boxes in different sizes with India Post logo. One can use this to send products from 3 to 25 kgs
This service will be available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The post office can be reached at 2499 2583.
