Social welfare minister of Tamil Nadu, B. Valarmathi distributed assistive devices to differently-abled children at C. S. I. School of Deaf at Santhome High Road, on July 16.
The devices include tricycles, crutches, wheelchairs for physically challenged children, hearing aids, braille watches, sticks and spectacles for visually impaired children.
There were around 50 children who benefitted from this program.
These children were selected on the basis of their applications, submitted earlier.
