Tamil Nadu governor Dr K Rosaiah is the chief guest at the Andhra Mahila Sabha hospital campus in R A Puram on Friday morning – March 22, 11 a.m..
He will be here at 11 a.m. to open a renovated unit of the orthopaedic care department and a new facility for neo natal intensive care.
The orthopaedic unit here is over 50 years old and has been used by thousands of people with knee, leg or back problems. Now, the facility has been upgraded.
Also, generations have delivered their kids at the mother and child department here and AMS decided to upgrade the facility now, to be on par with a standard child hospital, says T K Ranganathan, Addl. Secretary here.
