Dr Shubha Ganesan, Carnatic music vocalist and teacher is to be decorated with the D K Pattammal Award at the opening evening of the North Chennai Isai Vizha on April 16. The fest has been an attempt by a Kolathur based school and local rasikas to host Carnatic music concerts for local rasikas. Shubha is a Mylaporean.
