The annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Srinivasa Perumal at Sri Vedantha Desikar Temple, Mylapore will be held from May 13 (Monday) to May 22 (Wednesday).
Daily there will be a procession in the morning and in the evening and also Thirumanjanam by 10 a.m. for Sri Srinivasa Perumal
Here are the key events of the brahmotasavam –
Golden Garuda Sevai falls on 15th May (Wednesday) at 5.30 a.m.
Naachiyar Thirukolam falls on 17th May (Friday) at 5.30 a.m.
Venugopalan Thirukolam falls on 18th May (Saturday) at 6.30 a.m. and Yaanai Vaahanam (with Yeasal Sevai) at 8.00 p.m
The car festival falls on 19th May (Sunday) at 7.40 a.m.
Pushpa pallaku will be held on 25th May (Saturday) at 7.00 p.m., says D. Sundaravaradan, trustee.
