As students awaited their Plus Two State Board exam results this morning, staff at local schools got to work.
Their focus was to collate the results in order to list the top rankers in the school in the science and commerce streams and those who excelled in each subject.
Staff at one girls school said that they would be able to issue notes on the school toppers by mid day.
All students though access the Net for their marks and few nowadays drop into the schools in the mornings.
But as the day progresses, campuses in Mylapore will be abuzz as students stream in to meet up class mates and exchange notes and seek certificates.
