Veteran actor Neelu was decorated with an Award of Excellence on June 1 at the Narada Gana Sabha in Alwarpet at an event of Kartik Fine Arts sabha. The award was given by ‘Nalli’ Kuppuswamy in the presence of the sabha’s president Sri Sabaratnam.
The sabha was giving awards and prizes to actors and artistes who featured in its annual Kodai Nataka Vizha held in May where new Tamil plays were staged.
