A swayamvara is being planned by the Catholic Church in the city. It is meant for Catholic community of the diocese of Madras-Mylapore which covers the city area.
The idea is of the Family Commission of the diocese which has its seat in San Thome.
The priest heading it says the swayamvara could help youths and their parents find easily the partners they have been seeking in recent times.
This meet is planned for October 27 at the Pastoral Centre, Kutchery Road, San Thome.
