The office at Sri Kapali Temple says that the temple will be open at its usual hours on New Year’s Day though it expects a huge stream of devotees and people on this day.
The gates will close at 12noon for the standard break.
At San Thome Cathedral, there will be half hour contemplation and prayer before the English Mass at 9.30 pm on Dec 31 and Tamil Mass at about 11.30 pm this evening.
