Tamil Nadu Governor Dr K Rosaiah and state chief minister J Jayalalithaa are expected to take part in an event at the Gandhi statue on the Marina beach road this morning.
January 30 marks the death anniversary of the Mahatma and this short event is scheduled to recall Gandhi’s death.
City police have not issued an advisory on traffic regulations in this area. The event is at 10.30 am.
