St. Bede’s under 14 cricket team cantered to a easy win over PSBB Schools Combined team in the final of the Vidya Mandir-Sportstar tourney on Monday evening.
In the match played at the Amir Mahal ground in Royapettah, PSBB could make only 160 in the allotted 30 overs. St Bedes, in reply made 161 for 2 wickets in 27 overs with S. Abhishek unbeaten on 65.
He shared a partnership with S Rithwik Eashwaran who made 46 and the partnership yielded 94 runs that set the pace for the victory.
