This Lenten season, as it always happens, local churches are organizing short pilgrimages. The community at the San Thome Basilica is organizing a pilgrimage to a few churches in the north suburbs of the city.
The tour will cover churches in Minjur and Palaverkadu ( Pulicat) besides a few others. The group will visit each church and offer prayers.
Lent is a time for reflection, charity and penance.
The tour is planned for March 29 Saturday, will be by bus and be daylong. Contact the church office to register and get more details. 2498 5455.
