It was time to recognise the academic and sports talent among youths at the 68th annual College Day celebrations at Ramakrishna Mission’s Vivekananda College on April 10 morning.
Chief guest S. Parvathy, Addl. Asst. Director of Income Tax (Trg.) at the Direct Taxes Regional Training Institute in Chennai was the chief guest while Mission secretary Swami Shukadevananda and college principal K. Srinivasan were also present at this event held at the college auditorium.
The chief guest stressed on the need to provide and take in values-based education which was set by swami Vivekananda.
This was also an occasion to say thank you to the retiring faculty and staff – Prof. Venu, Prof. Elangovan and office staffer Krishnamurthy.
