Residents of R. A. Puram colony want liquor shop moved out

A bunch of residents in R. A. Puram are moving heaven and earth to have a liquor sales shop and bar located in their colony moved out. The TASMAC shop is located in the ground floor of a block of apartments and shops, near Sangeetha restaurant on 3rd Cross Street.

They say that the activities of the people who frequent this shop is affecting their daily life. They say the people fight or vomit outside the shop and the place is often dirty at the end of the day’s business.

They wonder how a liquor vending shop and bar has been allowed in a  building that has apartments. They say they have complained to the TASMAC managers but followup action has not been taken.
