The London-based supermarket chain called Waitrose has expanded into Luz Church Road, Alwarpet. Launched on July 5, the new branch has a supermarket at the ground floor of the building.
The Dr. R. K. Salai road branch opened in January and is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and is located at 103/105, R. K. Salai, Mylapore. Ph: 28113755.
The store’s aisles comprise of Indian and imported readymade goods, packaged products, drink concentrates, an extensive section for chocolates, and separate sections for dairy, fruits and vegetables. The first floor (yet to be opened) of the Luz branch will feature plastics and other household essentials.
The store timings are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. At Luz Church Road, Alwarpet, opposite to Anjaneyar Koil.
