Oothukadu Venkatakavi Academy Trust is organising a music and dance festival to commemorate the 314th birth anniversary of Mahakavi Oothukadu Venkatasubbaiyer from Sept 22 – 27. Dr. K. V. S. Gopalakrishnan, secretary of P. S. Educational Society is the guest of honour at the inauguration to be held on Sept 22. Highlights include performances by K. Gayathri Girish on Sept 22, Mambalam sisters on Sept 23, Nama Sankeerthanam by Udayalur Kalyana Rama Bhagavathar and group on Sep 24 and a performance by the students of P. S. Senior and P. S.
