Saroja Iyengar (74 years) passed away on October 22. Born in Mylapore in 1940, she married Santhanaraman Iyengar in 1962 and they were together for 48 years till he passed away in 2008. She was a housewife and is survived by her son Parthasarathy, a daughter, their families and grandchildren.
