The December Season arts festival of Narada Gana Sabha opens this evening at its auditorium on TTK Road, Alwarpet. The Jeeyar from the Sriperumbudur mutt will be the chief guest at the 5.30 pm event at which mridangam vidwan Umayalpuram Sivaraman, veena artiste Kalyani Ganesan and nadaswaram senior Seshampatti Sivalingam will be honored with awards.
Then, as is the tradition here Kadri Gopalnath, A Kanyakumari and Aridwaramangalam Palanivel present a concert. Saxophone, violin and tail fusing in music.
