The 19th Namasankeerthana Taranga music fesival of Pujyasri Narayana Tritha will be held from Dec 5 – 7 at Sringeri Pravachana Mandiram. The event will be inaugurated by the chief guest K. Subramanian, station director, All India Radio on Dec 5, 3.15 p.m. onwards. Guru Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamigal will be present.
‘On Dec 6 at 3.30 p.m., a doctor’s and scholar’s meet has been organised. Participants will talk about bhakthi, sangeetham, arogyam, athmeekam and anubhavam.
On Dec 7 at 11 a.m., the title of ‘Namasankeerthana Seva Ratna’ will be conferred on mridangam vidwan R. Babu Rajasekar by H. S. Ramani, former chief secretary, Rajasthan. The chief guest is S. Krishna Kumar, general manager of Canara Bank. At No. 9, Sringeri Mutt Road, R. A. Puram. Ph: 24936671.
