So what is Auroville Papers? Just paper, art or both? Well, you get closer to this creation by a group of Aurovilleans who are exhibiting their works a Focus Art Gallery on TTK Roaf, Alwarpet from March 19 onwards.
These artists have found wasy of using locally grown cotton and paper to create various works, utility and artistic under the banner of Auroville Papers.
A sample of this work is on show at this gallery, opposite Hotel Raj Ramada. This event is is part of the ongoing ‘What is Auroville’ season in Chennai, shocasing all that Auroville and its residents do in various fields.
Open to all. The sow is on till March 31.
