A big party was held on Monday night, June 22 in Visalakshi Gardens, the Housing Board colony located off Warren Road by the fans of actor Vijay to celebrate his birthday.
A large cream cake was cut as fans, some 50 of them sang in his name and then distributed the cake pieces to their colleagues and others who joined the celebration. Notebooks were also given to poor students to mark this occasion. Songs from the film star’s hit movies in Tamil were played for this occasion.
