Hearing impaired student excels at Class XII board exams

POOJA GANESHPooja Ganesh, a hearing impaired student of M. Ct. M. Matriculation School, Luz cleared her class XII board exams this year with a top score of 1172/1200. She has chosen to pursue computer science engineering at Anna University campus.

Pooja, a resident of Mylapore for more than a decade,  was diagnosed with a hearing impairment at the age of three. She had to use a hearing aid all the time but she did not get discouraged by that and continued to excel at school.

Pooja’s drive to put her best foot forward at all times did not go unnoticed by her school. She received a lot of encouragement from her teachers and could not have done it without the school’s support, says her father N. Ganesh.
