Power outages plagued many colonies in Mylapore on Monday and in some, the power was cut right through the day.
Actor-politician S V Sheker posted on his FB page that there was no power in Mandavelipakkam through the day on Monday.
Many private internet lines also blinked off on Monday and companies sent ‘sorry’ messages to clients in the area, saying the lines would be restored in 24 hours.
