Raj Kumar and Ranjith Kumar, national level boxing champions, were the guests at Canopo Play school’s annual sports day celebration held on Feb 29 at Chennai Corporation playground at R. A. Puram.
The celebrations started off with a march past by children aged 1 – 5 years followed by a torch song and the oath. Later drills, an obstacle race and games and events were held for parents, teachers and staff. The teachers of Canopo then performed a MIME show on traditional and national games like kabbadi, gilli danda and hockey. The event ended with a pyramid formation by the students.
