Special school – Ekadaksha celebrates anniversary

Ekadaksha anniversaryTo mark its 6th anniversary, Ekadaksha Learning Center (ELC), a centre for children with special needs, held a number of programmes.

On Mar 3, they had a fun carnival which included the cutting of a cake and fun games like hitting the tins, throwing a ring on a gift and putting the ball in the right fish bowl.

On Mar 6, squash player Joshna Chinappa inaugurated an exhibition of products (seen in the pictures) made by the children of the center. Paintings, drawings, sparkling diyas, key chains, and beads jewellery were some of theEkadaksha Center-anniversary items displayed by them.

Ekadaksha Learning Center, founded on Mar 4, 2010 by 4 women –  Bharathi, Bindu, Archana and Kanaka, caters to the needs of children aged 4 to 18 years of age. They also provide remedial, fitness, computer, group communication, art and craft and pre- vocational classes at their premises. The school is located at 3, Jethnagar, 1st Main Road, R.A. Puram.
