Over one thousand women and men took part in the 1008 paal-kudam rituals and procession that were held at Sri Mundakakanni Amman Temple, Mylapore this morning.
Preparations were made earlier for this massive religious event and most of it went clockwork. This is part of the Chithirai Pournami season.
