Cultural and religion historian Pradeep Chakravarthy is to be honored with an award by Saravathi Cultural Trust this evening at Sri Kapali Temple, Mylapore.
The event takes place between a short concert by percussionist Vikku Vinayakram’s group and a Odissi dance recital.
The award wil be given by senior archaeologist and scholar Dr Nagaswamy.
The Gariyalis run this Trust that hosts the Vasant Utsav fest of music and dance every year in May here.
