The Pezhalvar Avatara Utsavam will be held at Adi Kesava Perumal Temple, Mylapore from Oct 31 – Nov 10. Highlights include the Simha vahanam and kannadi pallaku on Nov 1, Garuda sevai on Nov 2, Sesha vahanam on Nov 3, Kuthirai vahanam on Nov 5, Yaanai vahanam on Nov 7 and Thiru ther on Nov 8. At Madhava Perumal Temple, Mylapore, the utsavam will be held from Oct 31 – Nov 9. A purappadu inside the temple will be held in the evening everyday till Nov 6. On Nov 7, thirukovalur vaibavam and a veedi purappadu will be held in the evening. Other events include the thiruther and pushpa pallaku on Nov 8 and a special thirumanjanam on Nov 9.
