Poster competition held by local NGO

prostate cancer posterIndian Prostate Cancer Foundation (IPCF), an NGO working to educate people about prostate cancer, in association with PRSI, Chennai Chapter hosted an all India poster competition on prostate cancer awareness. IPCF received 70 entries from various cities in India.

The entries were judged by a panel of eminent judges including Dr. Prithika Chary – neuro physican and neuro surgeon, Vijay Bobby – advertising and media consultant and Ponni Concessao – leading architect and artist.

The winners were judged on the categories – concept, caption, technique and creativity. The first prize was awarded to Rakshit Jaimini, an engineering student at IIT Madras, the second prize to Gayathri. B, student of visual communication and the third prize to Dr. Jyotik Bhachech, consultant psychiatrist, Ahmedabad.

The awards carried a cash prize of Rs.7500, Rs.5000 and Rs.2500 respectively. The winning entries and profiles of the participants can be seen on the website www.indianprostatecancerfoundation.com. The foundation is located at 14/16, C. I. T Colony First Cross Street, Mylapore.
