MYLAPORE TIMES will host its annual workshop on ‘Basics of Journalism’ for senior school students and for college students.
The workshop introduces participants to journalism and encourages them to practice what they learn from lectures at the newspaper’s office. Those chosen for this course will have to attend 90minute-long lectures for 10 days, do field work and file assignments daily.
This workshop is conducted by Vincent D’ Souza, publisher-editor of Mylapore Times. Certificates will be awarded; but only to those who attend the workshop on all 10 days and complete their assignments.
Dates of the course: April 24 to 28. May 1 to 5. Timings: 9 a.m. ( 90mins daily). Venue: MYLAPORE TIMES Office, C P Ramaswamy Road, Alwarpet, Chennai-18.
